The Children's Museum of Manhattan provides children with experiences at the intersection of the arts, sciences and the humanities. Their exhibitions are updated each month with new activities and programs, some appropriate for children as young as under one year old. Exhibitions include a seasonal outdoor water exhibit and changing exhibits based on art, music, governance, New York City, and cultures from around the world. The museum is wheelchair accessible except for the lower level of the water exhibit. There is a gift shop on the premises.

Founded in 1913, the Morris Museum is home to a rather eclectic mix of collections focusing on fossils, local wildlife, model trains, minerals, Native Americans, and paintings and sculpture, among other things. The jewel of the museum, however, is the Murtogh D. Guinness Collection of mechanical musical instruments and automata, a demonstration of which is conducted every Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm. Part of the museum is in a Georgian-style mansion designed by Stanford White. There is a museum shop on the premises.

Pass Benefits

The Morris Museum pass admits 2 adults and 3 children. This pass can be borrow for a week. This pass is not printable and must be picked up at the Parsippany Library (449 Halsey Road, Parsippany) to be borrowed. Please call the customer service desk at 973-887-5150 x 201 for questions. The museum is open the first Tuesday of each month for members from 11 am to 2 pm in addition to regular hours. Please be sure to check the museum's website for any facility changes due to COVID restrictions at https://morrismuseum.org/visit/.
