Monday, April 107:00—8:30 PMZOOM

The Vikings in popular imagination are perceived as fearsome raiders of the sea. The Vikings did indeed raid, but they were also explorers, traders, craftsmen, and world travelers. This presentation introduces the Vikings, their world, the places they explored, the ships they built and the sites they left behind

Presented by: Dr. Veit, a professor of Anthropology and Interim Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Monmouth University.

His work research has been featured on NPR, in Archaeology Magazine and at TEDx Navesink in 2014.
