Adult- Literacy Volunteers: New Tutor Training

Literacy Volunteers of Morris County provides free tutoring to adults throughout Morris County. Tutoring services include ESL, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Citizenship, GED Prep, and Basic Math.
Volunteer Requirements
Must be over 18 and High School graduates.
Should speak, read, and write English with native fluency.
Commit to tutoring for approximately 1 year for 1hr a week at a library (public place) or over Zoom.
Tutor Training
New tutors are required to attend 4hrs of training.
In addition, new tutors are asked to complete 8 self-paced online training modules, approximately 30-45min.
