ADULT: Fall Prevention for Seniors

Tuesday, September 246:30—8:30 PMMeet AMain Library449 Halsey Road, Parsippany, NJ, 07054

Falls are the leading cause of injuries in older adults.

A fall can result in loss of independence, and decreased ability to do the things that are important in day-to-day activities. The presentation was focused on risk factors for Fall, how we can prevent it, screening and assessment for falls, strategies to prevent falls and how Physical Therapy can help.

A Physical Therapist can assess your risk factors. They can help you address risk and remain independent by designing a personalized plan for your specific fall-prevention needs.

Presented by: Meera Bajaj, PT Clinical Director of Professional Physical Therapy
